Join us for our General Meeting on Wednesday, November 18th where Amber Bloomer will be addressing one of our biggest challenges and opportunities as a parent — building self-esteem, resilience and confidence in our children!
This presentation is based on Brené Brown’s work from Daring Greatly. She’ll talk about what it takes to build resilience, self-worth and self-compassion for our children through our parenting skills. Discover the differences between shame and guilt and how we need to be ever mindful of the difference in our interactions with our children. In addition, we will discuss the Parenting Manifesto as suggested by Brené and the impact that it can have on our lives and on the lives of our children.
If you have ever wondered how you and your children could lead a life where shame-resilience and wholehearted living are central, then this discussion is for you!
